Abstract
|
[Objective] To investigate the physical functional state in patients with Yang deficiency. [Methods] Thirty patients with Yang deficiency from the third affiliated hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Dongzhimen hospital were enrolled and thirty healthy controls were collected from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Between 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m, about 3mL of blood samples were obtained from vein of each patients with deficiency and healthy control. Serum levels of IgG, IgM, C3, C4, LAC, GLU, TC, TG, TP and ALB were detected by automatic biochemical analyzer and serum levels of COR, T3, T4 and TSH were determined by radio-immunity methods. [Results] Compared with the healthy controls, the serum levels of IgG, LAC, T3 and COR of patients with Yang deficiency were significantly lower(P<0.05), while serum levels of GLU and TC were significantly higher(P<0.01, P<0.05). The other indexes had no obvious change. [Conclusion] During the trial process, the function of immune system, endocrine system and substance and energy metabolism are significantly lower or with disorder in patients with Yang deficiency. |
