Abstract
|
[Objective] To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of quadri-combined therapy on knee osteoarthritis (KOA) with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome. [Methods] Sixty-two KOA patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome were randomly divided into quadri-combined therapy group (acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine hot pack, bone fracture massage, function exercise) and voltaren therapy group (voltaren latex, microwave, function exercise). The clinical efficacy was evaluated based on VAS and HSS knee score and the symptom improvement before treatment and on 3, 6, 9, 12 days after. [Results] The treatment efficacy of quadri-combined therapy group on KOA with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome was better than that of voltaren therapy group. [Conclusion] The quadri-combined therapy on KOA with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome is effective and safety. |
