| Abstract

| [Objective] To establish a method for quick determination of water content in Fufang Danshen tablets by near infrared reflectance (NIR) spectroscopy. [Methods] Fufang Danshen tablets was used as test samples, and the confirmation sample was similar. [Results] It was a quick and accurate analysis method for determination of the water contents in Fufang Danshen tablets. The relative error was 2.23%. [Conclusion] The established method is a rapid and simple one with good accuracy and reproducibility for quick determination of water content, and it is also a non-destructive assay. The method can be used in drug production and inspection for quick determination of water content in Fufang Danshen tablets. |
