| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To explore the effects and the mechanisms of Ningxin Jieyu capsule in treating anti-depression. [Methods] Separate breeding with chronic unpredictable mild stress was chosen to establish the model of depression in rats. Using Open-Field method the behavior of rats was evaluated and the change of behavior of rats was observed before and after drug administration. [Results] After stress, significant differences in mean velocity, the distance of the central distance, central time, four directions of movement distance and time were demonstrated in rats of model group compared with control group(P<0.05). After drug administration, significant differences of the mentioned above parameters were also significantly different in rats of other group compared with model group(P<0.05). The distance and the time were increased compared with model group, and this effect was the most obvious in the middle dose group. [Conclusion] Ningxin Jieyu capsule has antidepressant effect, and it can significantly improve rats' depressive behavior. |
