| Abstract

| [Objective] To study the resources of the wild medicinal plant and their distributive characteristics and composition in the mountain region of Tangshan for providing the basis for the utilization of these resources of medicinal plant. [Methods] The authors have gone deep into the representative plot area and have investigated the resources of the medicinal plant. They have also collected and identified specimens, studied the literature and so on. [Results] The investigation has showed that there are 113 family, 301 genus, 382 species of wild medicinal plant in the mountain regions of Tangshan. Among them, there are 7 family, 8 genus, 11 species of fern;5 family, 6 genus, 8 species of gymnosperm;9 family, 36 genus, 42 species of monocotyledon;92 family, 251 genus, 321 species of dicotyledon. [Conclusion] The mountain regions of Tangshan is rich in resources of wild medicinal plants, and the prospects of the development and utilization are more brightening. |
