| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe the treatment method and clinical efficacy of nourishing kidney and activating blood recipe in the treatment of chronic glomerulonephritis. [Methods] One hundred patients were stochastic divided into two groups, treatment group(50 cases)and control group ( 50 cases ). The paients in control group were treated with Western medicine alone, while the patients in treatment group patients with Chinese herbal medicine of nourishing kidney and activating blood method in addition to the medicine given in the control group. The therapeutic effects were evaluated after treating for twelve weeks.[Result] The total effective rate of treatment group was 94%, which was higher than that of control group(P<0.0 5). In the two groups,the 24 h urinary albumin, blood urea nitrogen (BUN)were markedly decrased after treatment in comparison with before treament(P<0.01). The treatment group was better than the control group. In the treatment group, urine red blood cell number, serum createnine (Scr) were markedly decreased after treatment in comparison with before treament(P<0.01). [Conclusion] Nourishing kidney and activating blood is a better therapy effect for chronic glomerulonephritis. |
