HPLC method for determining ginsenoside content in Kangshen oral liquid

Abstract
    [Objective] To study the content of the ginsenoside in Kangshen oral liquid by HPLC method. [Methods] Take eighteen alkyl silane bonded silica as filler, water solution with acetonitrile (82:18) as mobile phase; the detection wavelength was 203 nm. Number of theoretical plates by ginsenoside Rg1 peak calculation should not be less than 6000. [Results] The ginsenoside Rg1 concentration in the range of 0.053~0.265 g/L, ginseng saponin Re concentration in the range of 0.037~0.185 g/L, the peak area and the concentration had good linear relationship. The average recovery rate was 99.12%. [Conclusion] The HPLC method for the determination of ginsenoside content in Kangshen oral liquid has a feature of simple operation, good reproducibility. It can effectively control the quality standard of Kangshen oral liquid.
