Abstract
Cell proliferation and cell apoptosis in the biotic body are regulated by gene orderly in vivo. It has formed a dynamic balance and is essential for homeostasis. Correctly handling the relationship between aging and cancer regulated by gene, can not only make peo-ple's live longer but can also make the people not susceptible to tumor. Western scientists try to artificially intervene the oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes against tumor and prolong life by using gene technology; finding and isolating the "longevity gene" from living or-ganisms and then transplanting and copying them to other organisms, and so hopping that it can prolong life doubly. However, gene activ-ity is a synergic action involved by a group of genes in the genome and is a program expression, so the life activity is good ordered and well arranged. Practices have proved that treating disease of traditional Chinese medicine is based on the characteristics of regulating gene expression and gene product modifying function, this is just its advantages.
