| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To explore the therapeutic mechanism of modified Liangxue Xiaofeng decoction and the effect on interleukin-8(IL-8) of peripheral blood in patients with psoriasis with blood heat syndrome. [Methods] The level of IL-8 before and after treatment by modi-fied of Liangxue Xiaofeng decoction for 8 weeks was measured in patients by ELISA methods. [Results] IL-8 of peripheral blood were higher in patients than that in controls (P<0.01). After treatment, IL-8 of peripheral blood and the PASI were lower than that before (P<0.01). [Conclusion] The modified of Liangxue Xiaofeng decoction may reduce psoriatic symptoms by reducing the activation of com-plement and inhibiting the inflammation reaction. |
