| [Objective] To observe the effect of Jinqi sugar-lowering tablet on the expression of RAGE, TGF-β1, VEGF and CTGF in kidney of rats with diabetes. [Methods] The level of RAGE,TGF-β1,VEGF and CTGF in kidney in group of rats with diabetes (group DM), group in diabetes with Jinqi tablet(group DD) and control group(group N) was determined at 20 weeks after inducing of diabetes. Their average plasma glucose (APG), triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), endogenous creatinine clearance (Ccr) and urine microalbumin were recorded. [Results] Compared to the group DM, the level of UMA,TG, RAGE, TGF-β1,VEGF and CTGF in group DD was lower(P<0.05), but the Ccr was higher. The level of APG and TC between group DD and group DM was not different. Renal pathological changes in group DD was better than that in DM group. [Conclusion] Taking Jinqi Sugar-lowering tablet may decrease the renal damage of diabetes. The renal protection of Jinqi Sugar-lowering tablet is related with controlling blood sugar and it may be related with the inhibition of RAGE,TGF-β1,VEGF and CTGF. |
