Abstract
|
[Objective] To study the effect pf Xingnao Kaiqiao(restoring consciousness and waking up the patient from unconsciousness) acupuncture therapy on aphasia after cerebral infarction. [Methods] The 96 patients met the inclusion standard were randomly divided into treatment group of 48 cases treated by Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture therapy; the control group of 48 cases with traditional acupuncture method. After treatment for 4 weeks, we study the curative effect by the standard of Chinese aphasia test. [Results] These two methods could improve the patient's language function. The effective rate of the treatment group was 87.5%, while the effective rate of the control group was 53.3%. The comparison of the total effective rate between two groups showed significant differences (P<0.05). [Conclusion] Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture therapy has good therapeutic effect on aphasia after cerebral infarction. It is better than that of traditional acupuncture treatment. |
