| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe the clinical curative effect of Shenjin Yigu method in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis, testing the effect of Shenjin Yigu method on the soft tissue around the knee to provide a safe, effective, treatment for knee osteoarthritis. [Methods] Randomly dividing 100 cases of knee osteoarthritis into 2 groups, the control group (50 cases) with traditional massage therapy, and the experimental group (50 cases) were applied with the Shenjin Yigu method characterized with five-body syndrome differentiation, 7 days for a course of treatment and totally two courses. [Results] Comparing the point of 2 groups of patients with knee osteoarthritis, the experimental group was significantly better than control group (P<0.01). Muscle tension were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. The two groups could improve the soft tissue around the knee joint function (P<0.05), but the treatment group was better (P<0.01).[Conclusion] The experiments showed that massage therapy and Shenjin Yigu method had a certain effect on the knee osteoarthritis, but the effect of Shenjin Yigu method was more obvious. |
