Abstract
|
[Objective] To investigate the efficacy and safety for the acupuncture and moxibustion in critical ventilated patients with abdominal hypertension.[Methods] A total of 80 cases of ventilated patients with abdominal hypertension were randomly divided into two groups 40 cases in the control group which received the conventional treatment;another 40 cases in the treatment group which received the convention treatment combined with the acupuncture and moxibustion. The intra-abdominal pressure of patients and duration of Mechanic Ventilation and stay in ICU were measured to compare the efficacy and safety between the control and treatment groups. [Results] The intra-abdominal pressure of the treatment group was significantly decreased. The Median duration of Mechanic Ventilation and stay in ICU of the treatment group also have a significantly shorter than that of the control group.[Conclusion] Acupuncture and moxibustion could remarkably decrease abdominal hypertension and improve respiratory failure. |
