Abstract

[Objective] To establish a raw material processing method for increasing the combined anthraquinone in Rhubarb. [Methods] Rhubarb was placed into a sealed steamer, steamed by steam and sliced. At the same time the combined anthraquinone components in herbal pieces of Rhubarb were measured and compared by HPLC. [Results] The total content of anthraquinone in the research processing pieces of rhubarb was basically the same with traditional processing pieces and the combined anthraquinone content was significantly higher than that in traditional processing products. [Conclusion] The research method with rhubarb raw materials processing is short production cycle, saving cost, suitable for mass production and can be used as a processing method for popularized. |
