Abstract
[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of Xuebingjing injection against multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) after cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). [Methods] Using randomly, group-divided method, 98 patients with diagnosed MODS after CPR were assigned as treatment group and control group. The changes of main symptoms, body signs, serum TNF-α, IL-6 and the multiple or-gan function were observed before and after treatment. The control group was treated with normal Western medicine alone while the treat-ment group was with Xuebijing injection and Western medicine. [Results] Compared with the control group, the serum levels of TNF-α and IL-6 of patients in treatment group were more obviously improved (P<0.05). The function of live, myocardial enzymes, coagulation in-dexes and arterial blood gas analysis and so on were also obviously improved after treatment for 3 day and 7 day (P<0.05). [Conclusion] Xuebijing injection can improve symptoms, decurtate course and prevent aggravate of CPR-MODS.
