Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of fire needle combined with body acupuncture surrounded needling for treating circumscribed neurodermatitis. [Methods] The 76 patients were divided into two groups in accordance with the random number table. The 40 patients in the treatment group received the fire needle combined with body acupuncture, while in the control group triam-cinolone and urea cream were externally used. The therapeutic effect was assessed two weeks later. [Results] The total effect rate of the treatment group was 95.0%, while the control group was 83.3%. Meanwhile the therapeutic effect of the two groups had a significant differ-ence (P<0.05), statistically. The effective cases of the two groups were followed up for half a year. The recurrence rate of the treatment group was 5.3%, whereas the control group was 23.3%. Comparison of the main symptoms and signs, such as the improvement degree of the pruritus scores and skin lesions scores, the two groups had a significant difference (P<0.01). [Conclusion] The therapeutic effect of using fire needle combined with body acupuncture surrounded needling to treat circumscribed neurodermatitis is definitive. The acupoint selection is simple and convenient with no toxic and side effect. The recurrence rate is low and it is deserved for the clinical expending. |
