Abstract
|
Lung cancer (and the cancerous cachexia) belongs to a systemic and chronic consumptive disease. Its clinical manifestations are similar to the consumptive disease of traditional Chinese medicine. Among those ancient Chinese doctors, however, the theories for treating the consumptive disease proposed by WANG Qi-shi are corresponded to the therapy of lung cancer in modern medicine quite well. This article will discuss the application of the therapeutic theories in treating consumptive in TCM with syndrome-differentiation in the treatment of lung cancer, mainly based on the concepts of WANG Qi-shi. |
