Abstract
|
[Objective] To compare the effect of toxicity of Qingre Jiedu(clearing heat and detoxification) prescription in different prepa-ration method. [Methods] The drugs contained in Qingre Jiedu prescription were prepared to different samples: single-decoction, mixed-decoction, and single-drug-decoction. The LD50 of each sample after intragastric administration was determined in mice by simplified probit method, and the results were compared. [Results] The LD50 of mixed-decoction and single-decoction samples were (91.26±7.92) g/kg and(111.47±9.12)g/kg respectively. Compared with the mixed-decoction samples, the toxicity of single-decoction samples was de-creased significantly (P<0.05). Different death time and different behaviors before death were fund in animals. Single-drug-decoction sam-ples showed no toxic reaction in most animals after administration. [Conclusion] Compared with single-decoction sample and single-drug-decoction sample, compatible prescription has a certain effect of raising the bioactivity of Chinese medicine. |
