| Abstract

| [Objective] To establish a comprehensive scheme of prevention and treatment with TCM about PiDan (spleen heat, prophase of diabetes) taking hospital as the guide and the communities as the main body. [Methods] Based on the clinical research results and industry standard of combined prevention and treatment of PiDan with TCM after many discussions by the peer experts and revised again the consensus was reached. [Results] Because of irregular eating habits, in 36.20% patients with a high-risk of diabetes the PiDan was occurred. Among them, 43.60% were located at spleen and stomach. The level of blood glucose was recovered to normal in 42.15% of patients after combined TCM prevention and treatment of PiDan for one year. [Conclusion] It's very meaningful to formulate a representative, replicable and easy-expending domestic system with three early measures in prevention and treatment of PiDan with TCM. |
