Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the clinical curative effect of nourishing heart and tranquilization decoction in treating coronary heart disease associated with depression. [Methods] The 80 patients with coronary heart disease with depression were randomly divided into control group (Western medicine for expanding coronary vessels and Citalopram) and treatment group (routine Western medicine for expanding coronary vessels added with nourishing heart and tranquilization decoction). In these two groups HAMD scale assessment was performed before treatment, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks after treatment. The treatment group and control group were also received Seattle Angina Questionnaire (SAQ) measurement before and after treatment. [Results] In the treatment group,35 patients completed the trial and 5 patients dropped out. In the control group,37 patients completed the trial and 3 patients dropped out. There was no statistical difference (P>0.05) of HAMD scale score between the control group (8.80±2.77) and the treatment group (9.03±2.99), while in terms of SAQ, the treatment group was improved more significantly (P<0.05) in three aspects of AS, AF and TS. [Conclusion] Effect of nourishing heart and tranquilization decoction on coronary heart disease with depression is better than the simple expanding coronary medicine combined with antidepressants. |
