Abstract
[Objective] To explore the mechanism of collateral pncture in treating nerve root cervical spondylosis through observing the change of local blood perfusion in patients with nerve root cervical spondylosis. [Methods] The 57 patients with nerve root cervical spondylosis were intervened with collateral pncture and acupuncturing Jiaji. Contineously with evaluating the curative effect with VAS, the change of blood perfusion at DaZhui and JianJing of the patients was observed by laser speckle flowmeter. [Results] VAS scores were reduced significantly after intervention between two groups (P<0.01). Blood perfusion of two acupoints was increased significantly after collateral pncture and acupuncture (P<0.05). The blood perfusion of collateral pncture group was increased higher than that of acupuncture group (P<0.05). [Conclusion] Therapy with collateral puncture and acupuncture can increase the local blood perfusion of patients with nerve root cervical spondylosis, and the impacts of collateral puncture are much more outstanding.
