| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To observe the clinical effect about postmenopausal osteoporotic pain and capacity for action in females treated by Rongjin tablets combined with low-frequency pulsed electromagnetic fields and inquiry into the treatment program about osteoporotic pain. [Methods] The 90 patients with postmenopausal osteoporotic pain were randomly divided into 3 groups: the group treated by essential drugs; by both essential drugs and low-frequency pulsed electromagnetic fields; by essential drugs, low-frequency pulsed electromagnetic fields and Rongjin tablets with 30 cases in each group. We compared the scores of VAS, BPI and SF-36 before and after treatment in each group and the scores after treatment among the groups. [Results] The scores of VAS, BPI and SF-36 of 3 groups after treatment were all better than before(P<0.05). And the group treated by essential drugs, low-frequency pulsed electromagnetic fields and Rongjin tablets had the best results(P<0.05). [Conclusion] The treatment with both low-frequency pulsed electromagnetic fields and Rongjin tablets can alleviate the postmenopausal osteoporotic pain effectively and improve the capacity for action. It should be ranked among the treatment program of osteoporosis. |
