Abstract
|
The theory of moistening for dryness mainly described herbs with moist and dryness nature. Their clinical applications were discussed. Moist herbs had different nature of cool, warm, acrid, salty. They also had different efficacy of moistening with nourishing blood, nourishing yin, clearing away heat-evil, promoting blood, and moistening lung, liver, heart, kidney. Except for the nature and efficacy, the experiences of CHEN Wu-duo and LI Dong-yuan in using herb of dryness, and the theory of LIU Wan-su and ZHU Dan-xi's in rectifying imbalance with dry medicine were cited, suggesting that correct methods of using Chinese herbs with moist and dryness nature were necessary. |
