| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To investigate the effects of Fuke GuanchangⅡrecipe (enema II for patients in gynecotokology) on secretion of E2 and prostag landin E2(PGE2) from ectopic endometrial cells. [Methods] Using the mono-layer model of Caco-2 cells as a tool, miming the enema method used in traditional Chinese medicine in human body, the endometrial stromal cells and Caco-2 cells were co-cultured together. The Fuke Guanchang II and other subjects factors were stimulated on the endometriosis ectopic endometrial cells through Caco-2 cell monolayer model. After 24 hours, the level of PGE2 and E2 secreted from endometrial cells was measured. [Results] The Fuke Guanchang II could reduce the E2 and PGE2 content, secreted by the ectopic endometrial cells. [Conclusion] The Fuke Guanchang II can inhibit the development of EMS through reducing the autocrine of E2 in the endometrial stromal cells. |
