Abstract
|
Diabetes and depression are recorded in ancient literature, and its pathogenesis can be classified into “depression due to disease” and “disease due to depression”. Depression is closely related to diabetes, so the treatment should put the emphasis on relieving liver for smoothing Qi. To pursuit the optimal treatment, and the program can be conducted by five steps, including syndrome differentiation, method, formula, herbs and guiding. Regulation of mood is good for the control of diabetes, while a good control of diabetes is good for relieving liver Qi, which can reduce insulin resistance due to bad mood, control blood glucose effectively, as well as increase patients' life quality. |
