Abstract
|
[Objective] The changes of intestinal mucosal barrier after relieving obstruction was investigated. And the effects of early application of Sijunzi decoction on intestinal mucosal barrier after relieving obstruction was assessed. [Methods] The normal rabbits were randomly divided into 6 groups including control group, intestinal obstrution 2 d model group, natural recovery 2 d group, application of Sijunzi decoction 2 d group, natural recovery 2 d group, application of Sijunzi decoction 4 d group. Each group included 6 rabbits. After relieving obstruction the serum endotoxin, Chiu intestinal mucosa injury scores and the integrality of intestinal epithelium was observed by microscope in 2, 4 d. [Results] The level of endotoxin was reduced gradually after relieving obstruction. Moreover, the level of endotoxin and Chiu's histopathological evaluation score was obviously lower in the Sijunzi decoction groups than that in the natural recovery groups (P<0.05). The surface area of villus was obviously higher in the Sijunzi decoction groups than that in the natural recovery groups (P<0.05). [Conclusion] The Sijunzi decoction can efficiently restore the lesion of intestinal mucous epithelium to block bacterial translocation and to lower the level of endotoxin. Hence, it can obviously protect intestinal mucosal barrier function. |
