Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of treatment for upper limb spastic. [Methods] Select 60 cases with upper limb spastic after ischemic stroke and randomized divided into treatment group and control group, each group included 30 cases. The treatment group was treated with the “XNKQ” acupuncture therapy combined with “jingu” acupuncture, and the control group was treated with simple “XNKQ” acupuncture therapy. Compare with the two kind of treatments' influence to the muscle tension, motor function and activities of daily living of patients. [Results] After treatment in both groups the MAS, Fugl-Meyer assessment and Barthel index were better than those before treatment improved, and the treatment group were better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05 or P <0.01). [Conclusion] The “XNKQ” acupuncture therapy combined with “jingu” acupuncture can effectively reduce muscle tension, improve motor function and daily living skills of patients with upper limb spastic after ischemic stroke. |
