| Abstract

| [Objective] To analysis the effect of the Shenjin Yigu orthopedic massage manipulation treating on the knee osteoarthritis(KOA) with mild varus deformity. [Methods] The 70 patients with KOA mild varus deformity were randomly divided into two groups. The observation groups with Shenjin Yigu orthopedic massage manipulation therapy, the control group treated by sodium hyaluronate injection articular cavity injection therapy. The two groups were treated for 21 days, analysis of local tibiofemoral force line anatomy angle(α angle), knee function score, limb alignment offset distance(L), lower extremity absolute length(H), change four quadriceps, hamstring muscle tension unit before and after treatment. [Conclusion] The two groups after treatment of knee function and rectus femoris and hamstring muscle tension were improved significantly(P<0.05), and observation group was better than that of control group(P<0.05). The observation group α angle and L decreased significantly(P<0.05), and the control group showed no significant change(P>0.05). No change in the H of patients in the two groups(P>0.05). [Results] Shenjin Yigu orthopedic massage manipulation is an effective method in the treatment of mild KOA knee varus deformity, which can effectively reduce the knee varus angle, significantly improve the function of knee joint. |
