Abstract
|
Professor TANG Qi-sheng considers that the relationship between depressive disorder and "Yu Bing" in Chinese Medicine is extremely close. Emotional stagnation is different from pathogenesis stagnation such as the stagnation of Qi, blood, sputum, food, fire, etc. It is usually results from emotional upset at the beginning, and then stagnation of liver Qi, then stagnation of phlegm and Qi. For a long time, consumption of kidney essence will occur, then deficiency. Thus he suggested the pathogenesis of "Kidney essence deficiency and liver Qi stagnation". He analyzed the syndrome principles by dataming, and found it is the most frequent syndrome of depressive disorder. He used the method of tonifying kidney and smoothing Qi, herb of Yinao Jieyu, to treat the disease, and it is effective. |
