Abstract
[Objective] To study the antiviral effects of biocompatible microemulsion and microemulsion extract of cmpound Longqincao on H1N1 influenza virus in vitro. [Methods] The maximum non-toxic concentration (TC0) and median toxic concentration (TC50) of biocompatible microemulsion and microemulsion extract of cmpound Longqincao on A549 cells were detected by using methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT). The influences of these drugs on virus-infected cells were observed by cytopathic effect (CPE), the cytopathic inhibition rate (ER) was detected by using MTT. The median inhibitory concentration (IC50) and therapeutic index (TI) of these two drugs on viral infection were calculated by the Probit regression. [Results] Microemulsion had inhibitory effect on the pathogenic effect of influenza virus, IC50 was 769.178 mg/L (Calculated with microemulsion) and TI was 9.078. When the concentration of microemulsion extract of cmpound Longqincao was 1 250 mg/L, The antiviral rate was 91.37%. IC50 was 314.808 mg/L (Calculated with microemulsion) and TI was 20.889. It had a significant effect on protecting A549 cells from intrusion. [Conclusion] The microemulsion extract of cmpound Longqincao played a good role in anti-H1N1 influenza virus, the microemulsion also had antiviral effect, and maybe played a supporting role to a certain extent.
