Abstract

Primary hypertension is a systemic disease that an adult's systolic pressure≥140 mmHg(1 mmHg=0.133 kPa) and/or diastolic pressure≥90 mmHg in a quiet state, with varying degrees of functional or organic changes. It is also a common psychosomatic disease, known as hypertension. Anxiety refers to nervous, restless, even fear without clearly objective reasons. The majority of patients with hypertension also have symptoms of anxiety owning to long-term antihypertensive drugs. It may cause amphibolic blood pressure, low effect of treatment, and poor prognosis. Only use antihypertensive drugs can not achieving the expected effect. Recent studies show that combined using of traditional Chinese medicine has better effect. This review discusses the studies and developments about etiology and pathogenesis, syndromes, treatment of herbs and acupuncture in recent years. |
