| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To explore the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) triple external therapy (fire needle therapy, the acne removing technique, TCM mask method) on acne vulgaris, and provide a basis for the promotion of TCM triple external therapy. [Methods] The 1400 cases of acne vulgaris patients were randomly divided into two groups, the treatment group (TCM triple external therapy) of 700 cases, the control group(clindamycin phosphate gel and tazarotene cream) of 700 cases. The changes on clinical scores and the effective rates of skin lesion after the treatment of 4 weeks were observed. [Results] In 1400 cases, 9 cases missing(2 cases in treatment group, 7 cases in control group), 1391 cases were effective, two groups of skin lesion clinical score were significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05), and the skin lesion clinical scores of the treatment group were lower than the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05). [Conclusion] TCM triple external therapy can obviously improve the clinical symptoms of the acne vulgaris. |
