Abstract
    Ulcerative colitis(UC) is a chronic nonspecific intestinal disease with prolonged course, high recurrence rates and canceration tendency, which has been listed as one of the refractory diseases by World Health Organisation. Various external treatments including enema, acupuncture, acupoint application, ect, make good effect in clinical treatment of UC, and provide another options for patients in virtue of convenience and operability.
