Abstract

By tracing the origin, systematically illustrate the theoretical connotation of "Rather Missing the Acupoint than Missing the Meridian", and by listing the emergence of adverse event that there are some partial damage in the process of acupuncture at Weizhong (BL 40) for a long-term treatment of the disease,and by introducing detailed the local anatomy of Weizhong (BL 40), apply the theory of "Rather Missing the Acupoint than Missing the Meridian" to clinical acupuncture in selecting Weizhong(BL 40), and also systematically expounded the reasons and basis why avoid Weizhong(BL 40) and select two inches above weizhong ("Weizhongshang", body cun). |
