Abstract
    Professor YAN Hong considers that the pathogenesis of depression can be summarized as "Qi stagnation and Shen injury" and establish the therapeutic method of "regulating the Qi and relieve the Shen" witch is remarkable in clinical curative effect. This paper is intended to explore evolution of theory of "Qi stagnation and Shen injury".
