Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe Xiaopi prescription on interstitial cells and the gastric emptying rate of gastric muscle layer Cajal in rats of distention and fullness after chemotherapy. To explore the mechanism of distention and fullness induced by chemotherapy. [Methods] Wistar rats (n=60) as the object of study randomly divided into blank group, model group, Western medicine group, Xiaopi prescription high dosage group, Xiaopi prescription middle dosage group, Xiaopi prescription low dosage group, 10 rats in each group. Except for the blank group, the other 5 groups were injected with the tail vein for the establishment of the spleen deficiency syndrome model of rats. Blank group and model group were given physiological saline gavage. Xiaopi prescription high dosage group, Xiaopi prescription middle dosage group, Xiaopi prescription low dosage group were given concentration of 100%, 150% and 200% decoction orally. The Western medicine group was given cisapride intragastric administration, administration for 7 days. The daily feed intake of rats was observed. The gastric emptying rate was detected, and the morphology and quantity of ICC in the gastric pacing region were observed by transmission electron microscope. [Results] The eating and gastric emptying rate in the model group decreased significantly compared with the control group (P<0.05), and the number of ICC, structural damage, fewer organelles, between the nerve endings and smooth muscle cells were reduced, and the connection was damaged. The food intake and gastric emptying in Xiaopi prescription high dosage group rats significantly increased compared with model group, and the difference had statistical significance (P<0.05). ICC structure returned to normal, and new increased. The food intake and gastric emptying in Western medicine group were increased, but part of the structure of the ICC still visible damaged. Xiaopi prescription low dose and middle dose group compared with the model group of them, which had no significant difference. [Conclusion] The effect of ICC may be one of the mechanisms of Xiaopi prescription in the treatment of epigastric fullness after chemotherapy. |
