Abstract

In this paper, based on the analysis of the concept of sub-health status, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome and TCM constitution, illustrates the differences and relationship between syndrome and constitution. The pathological constitution is not the same as sub-health status. And based on the feasibility and advantage to study sub-health with TCM syndrome and TCM constitution, putting forward in the further study of sub health, more emphasis should be put on the period of latent clinical and preclinical on the major, common and multiple disease, to explore the targeted indexes of syndromes and constitution reacting the quantitative accumulation of disease on sub-health status. It will bring major breakthrough for the prevention and treatment of sub-health and disease. |
