Abstract
|
This article presents Professor MA Rong's experience in the treatment of generalized epilepsy with febrile seizures plus (GEFS+). According to the children's physiological characteristics of "Lung often deficiency", and the close correlation between wind, heat and phlegm, he introduces that GEFS+ mostly belongs to pyretic epilepsy. The lesion of GEFS+ is in the lung, often involving heart and liver. And the key mechanism is that the exogenous wind actuates the liver wind, because of exogenous wind-heat, touching the deep-lying phlegm, and then excessive phlegm combining with the liver wind gives rise to mental confusion and limb convulsions. So Professor MA Rong adopts the method of expelling wind-heat, eliminating phlegm and relieving convulsion, and prescribes the modified Yinqiao powder. |
