Abstract
|
[Objective] To study the common traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome and syndrome elements of psoriasis vulgaris based on experts' investigation. [Methods] A questionnaire was designed according to the results of previous literature and clinical research. Based on Delphi method, it was conducted a questionnaire survey with 46 dermatology doctors in 6 specialist hospitals, established the Epidata database, analyzed the coefficient of variation (CV), the degree of the mean, the cumulative percent of the common TCM syndrome and syndrome elements of psoriasis vulgaris. [Results] The 46 questionnaires were sent to the experts and 46 questionnaires were retrieved. The activity coefficient was 100%. A syndrome or syndrome element with cumulative percent ≥70% and CV≤0.35 could be identified as a common syndrome or syndrome element of TCM. According to this principle, the common TCM syndrome of psoriasis vulgaris was blood heat syndrome, blood stasis syndrome, blood dryness syndrome, blood heat and wind dryness syndrome, dry because of blood deficiency syndrome and dampness and heat syndrome. Blood, skin, lung, spleen and liver were the common TCM syndrome elements of location of disease. Blood heat, heat, blood stasis, blood dryness, wind and dampness were the common TCM syndrome elements of nature of disease. [Conclusion] Delphi method is a good way to collect consensus opinions of experts. This study determined the common TCM syndrome and syndrome elements of psoriasis vulgaris, which can afford the foundation of further establishment of the syndrome diagnostic criteria based on the syndrome elements. |
