| [Objective] To explore the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine enema with Green and red powder in the treatment of ulcerative colitis by clinical observation.[Methods] The 41 patients met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into 2 groups,20 cases in treatment group and 21 cases in control group.The control group was treated with Mesalazin Enteric-coated tablets and treatment group was treated with Mesalazin Enteric-coated tablets plus retention enema with Green and red powder.The main clinical symptoms and endoscopic change integral,disease activity of total score,clinical efficacy,C-reactive protein (CRP) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) of two groups were compared before and after treatment.[Results] 1)Compared with before treatment,the abdominal pain,stool frequency,stool,colonoscopy and disease activity of two groups were significantly improved after treatment (P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than control group (P<0.05).2)In clinical efficacy,the total effective rate of treatment group was better than control group (P<0.05).3)The ESR and CRP after treatment were lower than before treatment (P<0.05) in two groups.The ESR and CRP in treatment group were lower than control group (P<0.05) after treatment.[Conclusion] The retention enema with Green and red powder has good efficacy in the treatment of ulcerative colitis,and it is worth popularizing in clinic. |
