Abstract
|
[Objective] To evaluate reporting and methodological quality of systematic reviews and Meta-analyses.[Methods] CNKI,VIP,Wanfang,CBM data base were searched for systematic reviews and meta-analyses in geriatrics in China from the establishment date to May 2016.PRISMA and AMSTAR checklists were used to assess.[Results] A total of 193 systematic reviews and Meta-analyses involving 65 systematic reviews and 128 Meta-analyses were identified.The quantity and quality of systematic reviews and Meta-analyses published on Chinese journal of geriatrics are increased and improved in recent years.The deficiencies of reporting and methodological quality of systematic reviews and Meta-analyses mainly contained literature search,assessment of publication bias and publication funds.[Conclusion] The reporting and methodological quality of systematic reviews and Meta-analyses in geriatrics rises gradually over years in China,but it still needs to be further improved.The elder medical researchers need to promote evidence-based research capacity and strictly follow the standard format of report to write literature. |
