Abstract

[Objective] To discuss the effects of Ruanganjian on the expression of HA, LN, PCⅢ, CⅣ and pathologic changes in hepatic fibrosis rats induced by high fat diet.[Methods] After high fat diet liver fibrosis model established, rats in high dose group and low dose group were given intragastric administration by Chinese herb as a dosage of 1.28 g and 2.56 g crude drug for 100 g weight per day, model group and control group were given intragastric administration by saline. Rats were put to death after 12 weeks and the change of liver histology was observed. The level of serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), triglycerides(TG) and total cholesterol(TC) were detected by Hematological examination. The level of serum hyaluronic acid (HA), Laminin (LN), procollagenⅢ(PCⅢ), collagenⅣ(CⅣ) were detected by radioimmunoassay.[Results] The levels of TC, ALT, AST in serum were significantly lower in two treatment groups than those in model group. The levels of TG were higher in model group than those in high dose group. The levels of HA,LN, PCⅢ, CⅣ in serum were higher in model group than those in the rest three groups. The levels of steatosis, steatohepatitis and fibrosis(SSS) was no significant difference between model group and low dose group, and the significance was lower in high dose group than those in model group.[Conclusion] Ruanganjian can decrease the levels of TC, TG, ALT, AST, HA, LN, PCⅢ, CⅣ in serum and protect liver cells, improve liver function, inhibit the production of collagen and improve its degration, to suppress the development of liver fibrosis. |
