Clinical observation of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease treated with Ruanganjian decoction |

Abstract
|
[Objective] To investigate the clinical effect on treating nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) by using Ruanganjian decoction.[Methods] Sixty NAFLD cases conforming to the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria were divided into two groups randomly. Patients in treatment group(30 cases) were treated with Ruanganjian decoction and patients in control group(30 cases) were treated with polyene phosphatidylcholine capsules. All patients were treated for 12 weeks. Liver function, blood lipid levels and B-mode ultrasound of patients were observed.[Results] The total effective rate in treatment group was 86.7% whereas that in control group was 73.3%.The levels of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, gamma-glutamyl transferase, total cholesterol, triglyceride and the result of B-mode ultrasound were obviously improved after treatment(P<0.05).[Conclusion] Ruanganjian decoction is effective for the treatment of NAFLD and worthy in clinical application. |
