Abstract

The book Confucians' Duties to Parents not only had rich clinical experience and unique academic ideas in using herbs, but also made numerous theories and successful clinical cases on acupuncture especially pricking blood. Acupuncture and moxibustion are often combined with herbs in the cilnical work of the book,which are very effective. This article analyzes and discusses the five characteristics of using the combination of acupuncture and herbs dialectically,which are clinical treating methods of principle and supplement,priority and subsequence, overcoming one's weaknesses by acquiring the other's strong points,moxibustion combining with using herbs and focusing on pathogenesis,in order to provide clinical reference for the treatment of acupuncture and moxibustion. |
