Abstract
Tripterygium wilfordii Hook. F. (TWHF) belongs to celastraceae. It is a traditional Chinese medicine with a variety of pharmacological effects, which is applied for many diseases because of its significant effects. TWHF side effects are involved in multiple organ systems, and the liver toxicity events caused by TWHF were often reported, which limits its applications in clinical. Liver toxicity of TWHF in this study is summarized on Pathology, molecular mechanism and so on, in order to provide theoretical basis for clinical application and research.
