Abstract
    Pectoral stuffiness pain is a disease of chest feeling of blocking or pain, even the pain radiating to the shoulder and back. Clinical manifestation mostly is asthenia in origin and asthenia in superficiality. The abnormal metabolism of qi, blood and fluids leads to blood stasis and phlegm, days later could made arteries and veins and activities of qi blocked. Professor YU Zhi-qiang uses medicine flexible combined with the character of pathogenesy and regularity of disease development in long-term clinical practice. It formed five methods to treat pectoral stuffiness pain of soothing liver and regulating qi, clearing heat and washing away the phlegm, activating yang and washing away the phlegm, supplementing qi and nourishing yin, and benefiting vital energy, activating blood circulation and migratory arthralgia.
