| Abstract

| The discussion of diabetes in ancient Chinese medicines quite similar with type 2 diabetes mellitus of modern medicine. Due to the limitation of traditional treatment method of nourishing yin and clearing heat, and the therapeutic application of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis in treating type 2 diabetes and complications has achievedsatisfactory clinical effects in recent years, "blood stasis" plays an increasingly important role in the course of the type 2 diabetes mellitus. Based on the relevant research of Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor, this paper proposes that the type 2 diabetes mellitus is divided into three stages:Pidan, Xiaoke and Xiaodan stage. Whether the "middle jiaofull and endogenous heat" stage associated with obesity, the typical clinical manifestations of "yin deficiency and fire-hyperactivity" stage, or various complications of blood stasis context stage, blood stasis is always running through them. Therefore, this articleprovides atheoretical basisfor the early treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus with promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis. |
