Abstract
|
Diabetes mellitus(DM) is one of the most important noncommunicable diseases threatening people's health. About 20%~40% people who get DM will have a development of diabetic nephropathy(DN). DN is a common and refractory complication of DN, which has early clinical features as microalbuminuria, then turn to clinical albuminuri a, finally to chronic renal function failure and end stage renal disease. DN should be included in TCM as "Dispersion-thirst disease", "swelling" etc. and its pathogenesis may lie in "deficiency of both qi and yin, accompanied by stasis", so the treatment focus on "tonifying deficiency, stasis-dissolving, turbidity-removal", which has significant curative effect. Based on evidence-based medicine, there have had some researches analyzing the effect of traditional Chinese medicine act on DN from the perspective of pathogenesis, this article will summarize the research progress of it. |
