Abstract

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is refractory and lingering. The long-term treatment caused a heavy economic burden to the families of patients, and physical discomfort can lead to mental distress. These factors as a source of psychological stress, long time effect on the human body, the emergence of various psychological and physical symptoms. Professor HUANG Wen-zheng believes that kidney yang deficiency is the basis of its pathogenesis and plays an important role in the course of disease evolution. It is marked by phlegm, fire, qi depression and blood stasis. Professor HUANG relats anxiety and depression in the treatment of CKD to warm reinforcing kidney yang, soothing liver and regulating qi as treating primary. To disperse blood stasis and dredge collateral, expel phlegm and open orrifice is as the secondary. And he also emphasizes the curative effect of expelling phlegm, reducing fire, reducing restlessness, open orifice, relieving qi depression and activating blood circulation. |
