Abstract
|
[Objective] To discuss clinical efficacy of painless bone-setting manipulation combined U tape external fixation to treat distal tibiofibular syndesmotic injury in supination external rotation-type ankle fractures.[Methods] Retrospective study on 71 cases of patients with the distal tibiofibular syndesmotic injury in supination external rotation-type ankle fractures of our hospital from January 2014 to January 2016. The 38 patients were given painless bone-setting manipulation combined U tape external fixation treatment, another 33 cases of patients with surgical treatment. Length of hospital stay, hospital expenses, fracture healing time and joint function recovery time of patients were observed respectively. Clinical efficacy of fracture treatment after 6 months was evaluated by iconography radio-graphic grading and Mazur scoring system respectively.[Results] By the followed up of 71 patients, hospital stay, hospital expenses, fracture healing time and joint function rehabilitation of comparative differences are statistically significant between two groups (P<0.05). The Mazur score in painless manipulation group were better than operation group after 6 months treatment(P<0.05).[Conclusion] Painless bone-setting manipulation combined U tape external fixation treatment of Ⅱ, Ⅲ degrees distal tibiofibular syndesmotic injury in supination external rotation-type ankle fractures have a satisfied curative effect. It is safe and reliable. |
